Actor Karthi is preparing for the release of his upcoming rural drama, 'Meiyazhagan,' directed by Premkumar of '96' fame. Produced by Suriya under 2D Entertainment, the eagerly awaited film's release date was announced today with a new poster, heightening fans' anticipation.

The official update reveals that 'Meiyazhagan' will premiere globally on September 27th. The release date poster shows Karthi in a Jallikattu field, releasing a bull, which has heightened anticipation for the film. Interestingly, Jr NTR's Pan-Indian blockbuster 'Devara Part 1' is also slated for release on the same day, promising an exciting box-office clash.

'Meiyazhagan,' a captivating tale of friendship and family, boasts an ensemble cast including Aravind Samy, Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, Rajkiran, Devadharshini, Jayaprakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, Raichel Rebecca, and many others.
