As it stands, Sivakarthikeyan's much-anticipated biopic war drama, Amaran, has been officially announced for an October 31st release, coinciding with Diwali 2024. Adding to the festive competition, recent reports suggest that Jayam Ravis family entertainer Brother, directed by M. Rajesh, is also eyeing a Diwali release

Speculation is rife that if Vidaamuyarchi can wrap up production in time, it might be released on Diwali, while Vettaiyan could be scheduled to clash with Suriya's Kanguva on October 10th or release on Diwali based on the time of completion.
