Sources report that Kamal Haasan has donated ₹25 lakhs to support rescue and rehabilitation efforts after what is being called the deadliest landslide in Kerala's history. The disaster, caused by heavy rainfall on July 30th, has resulted in 308 deaths, with many more missing or injured. In response, the state has introduced drone-based radar technology to aid in the search for survivors.
