Another sinkhole has emerged on Jalan Masjid India, just 50 meters from the site where a woman pedestrian fell into a collapse last Friday. The new sinkhole appeared around 2:30 a.m. today, likely caused by the heavy rain and storm the night before.

The security team has securely cordoned off the affected area to prevent any accidents.

In the previous incident, a 48-year-old tourist named Vijayaletchumy from Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, India, fell into an eight-meter-deep hole and has been missing since. The search and rescue efforts for her are still ongoing.

Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Suliezmy Affendy Sulaiman confirmed the new sinkhole and noted that discussions are underway to potentially extend the public road closure, with more updates to be provided later.
