GEORGE TOWN, Sept 28 — A TNB cable bridge at the 275kV Project in Bayan Lepas collapsed due to the structure's inability to support the heavy cables, according to Penang Infrastructure Committee Chairman Zairil Khir Johari. The collapse occurred near Motorola, affecting the section heading towards Intel. TNB has swiftly responded by removing the cables, reinforcing the structure, and adding central piling for extra support. Intel has been informed, with repair work set to begin by the end of November. Photos of the incident have since gone viral on social media.
