Mari Selvaraj: Rising Star in Tamil Cinema with New Projects Ahead*

Director Mari Selvaraj, known for his impactful films, has garnered significant acclaim among Tamil audiences. After debuting as an actor and assistant director in Karattu Tamil, he made his directorial debut with Pariyerum Perumal in 2018, receiving widespread recognition.

His collaboration with Dhanush on Karnan in 2021 further solidified his status, despite some controversies. Mari Selvaraj has continued to impress with consecutive hits, including Maamannan and Vaazhai. His latest film, Banana, released on Disney Plus Hotstar on October 11, also received a strong response and performed well at the box office.

Currently, he is directing Bison with Dhruv Vikram. Following this project, reports indicate he will work on a historical film with Dhanush. However, before that, he may direct a new film starring Karthi in collaboration with Prince Pictures.
