Critics are calling the massive promotion of Kanguva an over-hyped advertisement, but the buzz around the film continues to grow. Directed by Siva and starring Suriya alongside Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, Kanguva is produced by Gnanavel Raja with music by GV Prakash. The film is set to release on November 14 in 38 languages worldwide, with a reported release on 11,500 screens — a major promotional push that's caught the attention of fans and critics alike.

Gnanavel Raja explained that the film’s release date allows it to secure more screens, compared to a festival release like Diwali, which would have limited it to around 4,000 screens.
