Is Rajini Unhappy with Lyca? Rumors of Salary Disputes Surround 'Vettaiyan'*

Rajinikanth's recent film Vettaiyan, directed by Gnanavel and produced by Lyca, became a box-office success despite mixed reviews. While the film didn't feature Rajini's usual mass appeal, it was well-received by fans who appreciated its compelling story.

However, rumors have surfaced suggesting Rajinikanth is dissatisfied with Lyca due to alleged salary delays during Vettaiyan. While it’s unclear how true this is, it’s been suggested that Rajini was owed money from the film, a claim that many believe is just a rumor. Rajini had previously worked with Lyca on Durbar, which underperformed at the box office and later agreed to star in Lal Salaam and Vettaiyan to help the company recover. 

Despite these reports, many close to the actor and the production house say there’s no truth to the claims of tension between Rajini and Lyca. In fact, it's been reported that Rajini will act in another Lyca-produced film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, putting such rumors to rest.
