Malaysia's Mixed Pairs Tang Jie-Ee Wei & Pang Ron-Su Yin Reach China Masters Semis

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 22 — Malaysia’s mixed doubles pairs, Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei and Hoo Pang Ron-Cheng Su Yin, both secured spots in the semi-finals of the China Masters today.

Tang Jie and Ee Wei pulled off an upset, beating China’s Guo Xin Wa-Chen Fang Hui in three sets, and will face world No. 2 Feng Yanzhe-Huang Dongping next.

Meanwhile, Pang Ron and Su Yin advanced to their first-ever Super 750 semi-final after defeating Taiwan’s Chen Cheng Kuan-Hsu Yin Hui. They will take on Hong Kong’s Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet in the next round.

Earlier, Malaysia’s men’s pairs Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzudin Rumsani, and women’s pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah also aim to qualify for the semi-finals later today.
