Bayern Munich Edge 10-Man PSG 1-0 with Kim Min-Jae's Header
Bayern Munich secured a crucial 1-0 victory over 10-man Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, thanks to Kim Min-jae’s first-half header. The win boosts Bayern’s hopes of automatic qualification for the knockout stages, lifting them to 9 points from five games, just outside the top eight.
PSG, already struggling with just one win in the group, remain in 26th place with only four points. They faced further setbacks as Ousmane Dembélé was sent off in the 57th minute for a second booking.
Bayern dominated from the start, with early chances from Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sané, while PSG had few clear opportunities despite efforts from Ousmane Dembélé and Joao Neves. Kim’s goal came in the 38th minute after PSG keeper Matvei Safonov failed to deal with a corner. Despite late pressure from PSG, Bayern held firm, with Kingsley Coman and Musiala coming close to a second.
This victory marks Bayern’s seventh consecutive win and their seventh clean sheet across all competitions.
