KUALA LUMPUR: Super League outfit Sabah advanced to the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup in style with a 7-0 aggregate win over PT Athletic today.

The East Malaysian team defeated AI Semi-Pro side PT 3-0 in the second leg of the round of 16 at the KLFA Stadium.

PT managed to keep the Rhinos at bay in the first half before collapsing after the breather.

Sabah scored through national striker Darren Lok in the 67th minute from a spot kick, Stuart Wilkin (73rd) and Brazilian striker Joao Pedro (81st).

Pedro missed the chance to bag a brace after failing to convert Sabah's second spot kick in the 85th.

Sabah will take on the winners of the Penang versus Kuching City match in the quarter-finals.
