Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran Faces Legal Controversy Over Visible Phone Number in Scene

Sivakarthikeyan's blockbuster film Amaran has been a major success, but it recently found itself at the center of controversy. In one scene, Sai Pallavi's character writes her phone number on a piece of paper, which is clearly visible. Fans, thinking it was Sai Pallavi's real number, flooded the number with calls and messages, causing distress to the actual owner, a Chennai student named Vageesan.

Vageesan filed a lawsuit against the film crew, demanding compensation of Rs. 1.10 crore for the mental anguish caused. In response, Raj Kamal Films clarified that the number in the scene had been altered and hidden. The case has been adjourned to December 20.

Meanwhile, Amaran continues to perform well, crossing Rs. 300 crore at the box office and now streaming on OTT. Sivakarthikeyan is already working on his next project with A.R. Murugadoss.
