Ajith's Vidamuyarchi Faces Rumors of Legal Trouble, Producer Clears the Air"

Vidamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has faced a tumultuous journey with multiple delays, including weather-related disruptions during shooting in Azerbaijan. Despite fans eagerly awaiting updates, the teaser was only released recently, with an official Pongal release date set.

However, rumors began circulating that the film was a remake of the 1997 Hollywood movie Breakdown, sparking concerns over a potential legal issue. Reports claimed that the Breakdown team had sent a notice demanding Rs 150 crore for not obtaining permission to remake the film.

Producer Dhananjayan swiftly addressed the speculation, confirming that he had contacted the Vidamuyarchi team, who assured him the rumors were false. He confirmed that the shooting is currently ongoing in Thailand, and the film is set for a January 10 release. With this clarification, the confusion surrounding the film has been put to rest, much to the relief of Ajith's fans.
