Actor Kalidas Jayaram, son of Jayaram, married Tarini Kalingarayan from Tamil Nadu in a grand ceremony at Kerala's Guruvayur temple today. The couple, who had been dating for several years, got engaged earlier, and their wedding received support from both families.

Kalidas shared the joyous occasion on Instagram, and congratulatory messages poured in from industry colleagues and fans. Jayaram, speaking to the media, expressed his happiness, saying, "We are overjoyed that our son's wedding took place in front of Guruvayurappan. Earlier this year, Kalidas’s sister, Malavika, also married at the Guruvayur temple. Kalidas's wedding marks the second in the family this year.

Jayaram’s wife, Parvathy, shared her happiness about having both a son-in-law and daughter-in-law in the same year. The couple had previously introduced Tarini at a function in Chennai.

While the wedding received warm wishes, a photo of Jayaram presenting the first press of the wedding to Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin went viral, leading to some online criticism from Kerala fans, who felt the gesture should have been directed towards their own Chief Minister.
