Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu are teaming up for the much-anticipated film Maareesan, produced by Super Good Films. After the success of Maamannan, this combo is expected to deliver another hit. Super Good Films initially aimed to make their 100th film with Thalapathy Vijay, but that didn’t materialize. Instead, they set their sights on Maareesan, hoping this collaboration would be successful.

The film, currently nearing completion in Nagercoil, was originally scheduled for release in 2025. However, delays occurred due to Fahadh Faasil's packed schedule, leaving Vadivelu to wait for his co-star’s availability. With Fahadh now available, the team plans to wrap up the remaining shooting by December. Despite the delays, sources suggest that Maareesan will be an exciting mix of fun and suspense, with a thrilling storyline in store for fans.
