Dhanush Pushes to Make Ilayaraja Biopic a Reality"

Dhanush, a devoted fan of legendary musician Ilayaraja, has long expressed his desire to star in the maestro's biopic. This year, his wish seemed set to come true when the Ilayaraja biopic was officially announced, with Dhanush in the lead role. The event saw major names like Bharathiraja and Kamal Haasan in attendance, and Arun Matheeswaran was confirmed as the director, sparking excitement among fans.

However, after the announcement, there was little news about the project, and rumors surfaced that the biopic might be shelved. This left fans disappointed, especially as Dhanush had been focusing on other projects like Rayan, Kubera, Nilavuku Enmel Enadi Kopam, and Idli Kadai.
