Madrid — Kylian Mbappé is back from a thigh injury and will join Real Madrid in Doha for Wednesday’s Intercontinental Cup final against Mexican side Pachuca at Lusail Stadium.

The 25-year-old forward missed Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Rayo Vallecano after picking up a thigh strain in last week’s Champions League win over Atalanta. However, he’s fit again, having trained with the squad ahead of the final.

Real Madrid, currently third in La Liga, are just one point behind leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with a game in hand. They will host Sevilla next Sunday
