At the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre, tragedy struck when a stampede broke out as Allu Arjun arrived, resulting in the death of a woman and severe injuries to a young boy, who later succumbed to brain death.

A police officer revealed that when the incident occurred, authorities tried to inform Allu Arjun's manager about the chaos, but were initially denied access to the actor. Allu Arjun, despite being told about the fatality, insisted on staying to watch the film before leaving, despite safety concerns.

Eventually, after discussions with senior officers, Allu Arjun was escorted out, though his security bouncers reportedly clashed with both fans and police during the evacuation. The actor's team was warned about the inappropriate behavior of the bouncers, and police suggested that VIPs employing such staff should be held accountable.

Following the incident, Hyderabad police arrested Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede but later released him on bail. When asked about further legal action, police officials remained tight-lipped.
