KUALA LUMPUR: Police discovered a body of a woman with stab wounds by the roadside in a forested area along Jalan Perkuburan, Bandar Country Homes, here on Jan 2.

Gombak police chief Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said they received a report about the incident at 10.37am.

"Preliminary investigations revealed the deceased is believed to be a foreigner, as no identification documents were found.

"She was wearing a black collared T-shirt with the words 'Johnny Walker' and black shorts," he said in a statement.

He added that the victim's body bore multiple stab wounds on her neck, chest and back.

It has since been sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for further examination.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

"Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
