Saifuddin Nasution: ‘No One Is Above the Law, Not Even My Son’ Amid Criminal Intimidation Probe
SEPANG — Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail today emphasized that his son is not above the law, urging a fair investigation into the criminal intimidation allegations against him. Speaking at KLIA, Saifuddin reiterated that the police must investigate thoroughly if there are reports against his son.
The police have submitted investigation papers to the Deputy Public Prosecutor’s office for further action. The case involves allegations made on social media that the minister’s son threatened a woman, claiming responsibility for her seven-week pregnancy. The incident reportedly occurred on December 24 in Penang.
Saifuddin stressed that the investigation should be carried out fairly, in line with the law, and that no one, including his family, is exempt from legal scrutiny.
