PM Anwar: Madani Govt Focused on Strengthening Malaysia’s Economy and Regional Cooperation

KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reiterated the Madani Government's commitment to boosting Malaysia's economy and advancing socio-economic development for its people. In a Facebook post, Anwar also highlighted Malaysia’s role as ASEAN Chair this year, aiming to foster regional prosperity.

He praised the visits of Singaporean PM Lawrence Wong, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, and Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba, calling them significant in opening a new chapter of cooperation that will benefit both Malaysia and the broader region.

Anwar emphasized that these high-level engagements further strengthen the close ties between Malaysia and these friendly nations, laying the groundwork for future collaboration.
