Kvaratskhelia Debuts as PSG Held to 1-1 Draw by Reims

PARIS — Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made his PSG debut in a 1-1 draw against Reims, setting up Ousmane Dembele’s goal at Parc des Princes. Dembele's early strike, his eighth in seven games, was canceled out by Keito Nakamura’s equalizer for Reims.

PSG, fresh off a huge Champions League win over Manchester City, remain undefeated in Ligue 1, staying 10 points clear at the top. However, they were unable to secure another win, possibly due to looking ahead to their crucial Champions League clash with VfB Stuttgart next week.

Kvaratskhelia, who joined from Napoli for €70 million, contributed with a fine assist for Dembele’s goal but saw Reims level soon after. Despite several key players rested, PSG could not break the deadlock.

In other news, Monaco climbed to third place after a 3-2 win over Rennes, while Lille suffered a 2-1 defeat to Strasbourg.
