The movie Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi and directed by Sandhu Mondatti, is set to release on the 7th of this month. Produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts and presented by Allu Aravind, it is also being released in Tamil by Dream Warrior Pictures.

At a press meet in Chennai, Allu Aravind shared that the film is based on true events, with rights acquired from 20 individuals—former prisoners released from a Pakistani jail. He praised the director for beautifully bringing their story to life in a compelling 2-hour movie format. Aravind also highlighted the debut of actor Karunakaran in Telugu, promising a strong performance.

The event was attended by Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Karthi, Aadukalam Naren, and directors Venkat Prabhu and Karthik Subbaraj.
