SINGAPORE — Singapore is set to send its seventh round of humanitarian aid to Gaza, including food, essential supplies, and medical assistance, as confirmed by Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. The aid will be delivered by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) via Multi-Role Tanker Transport aircraft, with coordination through Jordanian officials.
Since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict in October 2023, Singapore has contributed over S$19 million in six previous aid shipments. The country remains committed to supporting Gaza's reconstruction efforts and is ready to collaborate with the Palestinian Authority on training programs through its Enhanced Technical Assistance Package.
Balakrishnan also highlighted the complexity of the next phases of the ceasefire and emphasized the importance of continued humanitarian aid, urging all parties to ensure its unimpeded delivery.
