Five Rescued, Including Two Children, After Car Crash and Fire on Lekas Highway"

KUALA LUMPUR — Five people, including two children, were rescued by firefighters after their car crashed and caught fire on the Kajang-Seremban Expressway (Lekas) last night.

The incident occurred around 11:30pm on Kilometer 7.6, when a Perodua Myvi reportedly skidded off the road and ignited. Firefighters from the Semenyih station arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the victims, which included one man, two women, and the children.

One of the victims, who sustained minor injuries, was taken to the hospital for treatment. The car was fully destroyed in the blaze, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
