GOMBAK — In preparation for Thaipusam, seven roads around Batu Caves will close in stages from midnight Sunday until Feb 14 to manage traffic and crowds. Key closures include the Batu Caves traffic light junction, MRR2 turnoff, and nearby streets. Selangor police will deploy 1,306 personnel to ensure safety, and road closure details will be posted on electronic billboards and social media. Visitors are advised to park in designated areas and secure their vehicles, while drone flying is banned unless approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.
