KUALA LUMPUR — Tabung Haji (TH) urges Malaysian pilgrims to use only licensed pilgrimage operators (PJH) to avoid Haj fraud. There are 37 PJH companies approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) with strong financial standing and expertise to ensure pilgrims' welfare. TH monitors these operators closely to prevent fraud.

TH also supports the Royal Malaysia Police's warning against unauthorized Haj visa offers. Pilgrims are advised to avoid unauthorised packages as using them could lead to legal action and hefty fines. In 2024, 44 cases of Haj fraud were investigated, with losses totaling RM890,810.
