KUANTAN — Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has called for the swift arrest of the person responsible for the murder of a woman found near the Tanjung Lumpur bridge. Condemning the crime as "cruel and inhumane," the Sultan emphasized that the perpetrator must face justice.

Accompanied by the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang and Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, the Sultan visited the victim's family at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan to offer condolences and support, particularly to the victim’s husband, Afiq Akhmal Nudin, 31.

Pahang police have identified a suspect, a 37-year-old man with a criminal history, and a manhunt is underway. Investigations revealed the suspect had met the victim, a food seller, to pay for an order and that her jewelry was missing with signs of injury on her body.
