DBKL seizes goods from 7 unlicensed vendors

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has carried out seven seizures and issued three compound offer notices to vendors operating without licences around Pasar Borong Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

DBKL said that it conducted a special operation targeting unlicensed vendors in the Northern City Centre of Kuala Lumpur.

"The actions were carried out under the Licensing of Hawkers By-Laws (WPKL) 2016. All seized items were taken to the Seizure Depot on Jalan Lombong, Taman Miharja Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, for recording and documentation," the statement on its Facebook page read.

DBKL also said that it would continue to monitor and take action from time to time at identified hotspots.
