Vidaamuyarchi OTT Release and Storyline

The Tamil action thriller Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and inspired by the 1997 film Breakdown, will premiere on Netflix on March 3, 2025. After its theatrical release on February 6, 2025, the film, produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, will be available in Tamil with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The movie follows Arjun (Ajith Kumar) and Kayal (Trisha Krishnan), a couple dealing with personal struggles, including a miscarriage and an affair. Their lives take a dangerous turn when they encounter a gang while heading to her parents' home for a divorce. As kidnappings and betrayals unfold, Arjun fights to rescue Kayal, leading to a dramatic reunion.
