Sarawak police foiled a diesel smuggling attempt in Miri, arresting a 46-year-old man during an operation. The suspect was detained while driving a pick-up truck carrying diesel worth RM105,000. The vehicle and diesel were seized and handed over to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living for further investigation under the Control of Supplies Act 1961.
