MANILA — A Philippine Air Force FA-50 fighter jet and its crew went missing during a training flight near Cebu. The jet lost contact with other aircraft minutes before reaching its target area. The plane had departed from Mactan–Benito Ebuen Air Base. The PAF is conducting a search operation to locate the jet and ensure the safe return of its crew. The Philippines has a fleet of FA-50 fighters acquired from South Korea.
