KUALA LUMPUR: Former All England champion Hafiz Hashim believes that upsets are inevitable in the high-pressure environment of the All England this week, and he would love nothing more than to see compatriot Leong Jun Hao pull off one.

World No. 26 Jun Hao, making his debut at 26, faces a formidable challenge in the first round against world No. 3 and defending champion Jonatan Christie of Indonesia.

Hafiz anticipates an exciting clash, given their head-to-head record.

The duo met three times last year, with Jun Hao winning twice, including their most recent encounter in the semi-finals of the Kumamoto Masters last October.
