KUALA LUMPUR: Sprinter Azeem Fahmi has qualified for the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) grand final in Virginia, the United States on March 14-15.
The Malaysian will compete in the men's 60m dash.
Azeem, a student at Auburn University in Alabama, is ranked 14th (the top 16 will qualify) in terms of timing.
He broke the national 60m record twice, clocking 6.60 seconds at the Tiger Paw Invitational in South Carolina on Feb 14, and 6.56s at the SEC Indoor Championships in Texas on March 1.
