Chennai: The Madras High Court has set April 9 for the final hearing of actor Dhanush’s lawsuit against the use of his film’s footage in Nayanthara’s wedding documentary. Dhanush’s production company claims that scenes from his movie were used without permission in the Netflix documentary about Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan’s wedding, seeking ₹10 crore in damages. The case has drawn attention from the Tamil film industry, and the final hearing will determine if the documentary makers are liable for damages.
