Sal-Shehri penalty maintains Al-Ittihad's Saudi League lead

SALEH Al-Shehri's injury time penalty earned Al-Ittihad a 2-1 win over Al-Riyadh on Friday to maintain their four point Saudi Pro League lead over champions Al-Hilal ahead of the international break.

The Saudi Arabia international netted in the 11th minute of added time to earn his side their first win in four matches and keep Al-Hilal at bay.

Goals from Mohamed Kanno and Marcos Leonardo secured a 2-0 win for Al-Hilal over Al-Taawoun on Sunday while Al-Nassr defeated Al-Kholood 3-1 to move up to third.
