PUTRAJAYA: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob spent over six and a half hours today having his statement recorded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) during his third visit to its headquarters.
He arrived at 9.52am and left at 4.30pm, spending a total of 6 hours and 38 minutes being questioned.
Unlike his previous visits on March 13 and 14, he did not wind down the window of his vehicle to acknowledge the media waiting outside since 8am.
A source close to the investigation revealed that he was expected to return to the MACC at 10am tomorrow to continue the statement-taking process.
Earlier, he was seen waving to the media before entering the headquarters in a black Vellfire.
