SIK: A young couple's Hari Raya photo, taken just hours before they were killed in a road crash, has become a heartbreaking final memory for their loved ones.

Lokman Hakim Mohd Shukri, 23, and his wife Intan Suraya Zaidi, 24, died at the scene of the accident at Jalan Felda Teloi Timur, Kampung Merbau Kudung, here yesterday.

The tragedy occurred not long after the couple had attended a festive photo session at a studio in Parit Panjang, Baling.

Photographer Muhammad Suhaimi Yahaya, 35, said the couple arrived at his Bromie Studio around 11am for a Hari Raya photoshoot and spent about 30 minutes posing together.

"They laughed a lot and looked genuinely happy. I even managed to print and send the photos to their iPhone the same day," he said.

Suhaimi said he first met the couple when he photographed their wedding in June last year.
