JOHOR BARU: Two people were injured in an accident involving six vehicles at Km8 of the Johor Baru-Air Hitam road (Skudai-bound) yesterday afternoon.

The accident, which occurred around 12:30pm, involved a Nissan Serena multi-purpose vehicle, a Toyota Wish, a Honda CR-V and B-RV, a BMW X1 and a window van.

Johor Baru North police chief Assistant Commissioner Balveer Singh Mahindar Singh said the accident was believed to have happened when a 41-year-old local woman driving the Nissan Serena from Johor Baru to Skudai failed to brake while in the right lane.

"She then collided with the rear of a Toyota Wish driven by a 55-year-old man, who was attempting to change lanes.
