MELAKA: A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an elderly man with a helmet last Thursday.
The incident, in Cheng, left the victim lying on the ground.
Melaka Tengah police chief Assistant Commissioner Christopher Patit said authorities became aware of the incident after a 17-second viral video surfaced on Facebook, showing the altercation.
He said that initial investigations revealed that the brawl took place at the junction leading to Taman Cheng Utama on March 27.
