SEREMBAN: A woman was punched by a man who accused her of hitting his child with her car near Taipan Senawang.

A video of the incident has gone viral, showing the man attacking the woman after allegedly becoming enraged that she hit his child while the child was crossing the road.

In the 22-second clip, the woman is seen opening her car door before a man in a red shirt attempts to attack her. The man then moves to the front of the car and carries the child to the side of the road.

However, he again tries to punch the woman as she attempts to evade him and get back into her car. Another man at the scene tries to intervene.

Many social media users condemned the man's actions, arguing that parents are responsible for ensuring their child crosses the road safely. Others urged the woman to lodge a police report.

It is understood that police will issue a statement on the incident soon.
