ISTANBUL: A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck the southern Fiji Islands on Monday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.
According to Anadolu Ajansi, the USGS reported the quake occurred at a depth of 174 kilometers (108 miles).The United States Tsunami Warning System said no tsunami was expected.
