BANGKOK: After years of not being able to celebrate Songkran or the Thai New Year in Bangkok, Pattareeya Konwimon was finally able to enjoy precious moments with her family in Bangkok.
Pattareeya, 35, who works as a geotechnical engineer in Nong Khai province, in northeastern Thailand, described Songkran as the most meaningful time to reconnect with her family members.
"I work in Nong Khai and rarely get the chance to go back to Bangkok.
