KUALA LUMPUR: Since 1997, the YTL Foundation has empowered outstanding students who embody its core values of hard work, honesty, moral responsibility, togetherness and vitality.

The scholarship offers opportunities to pursue undergraduate studies, helping remove financial barriers for those with talent and the drive to succeed.

As part of YTL Group’s enduring commitment to nation-building, the scholarship reflects the Group’s philosophy of “Building The Right Thing” – investing in education as a cornerstone for lasting social impact.

By empowering talented young Malaysians to access learning opportunities, YTL Foundation seeks to nurture future leaders who will uplift communities, drive progress and help shape a better Malaysia.

To assist prospective applicants, the YTL Foundation will host an online information session tomorrow, Friday, April 18.

This session will provide valuable insights into the YTL Group’s mission and values, offer tips on submitting a strong application and a live Q&A to address any questions.

Attendees will also hear from current YTL Scholars, who will share how the scholarship and internship opportunities have shaped their academic and professional journeys.

“The record-breaking 2,621 applications we received in 2024, a 55% increase from the previous year, speak volumes about the trust students and families place in our mission.

“To us, this strong response reaffirms our commitment to nurturing future leaders through the power of education,” said YTL Foundation programme director, Kathleen Chew.

The scholarship is open to Malaysian students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential and genuine financial need. Eligible candidates must have strong results in SPM/IGCSE, STPM/Matriculation/Foundation, A-Levels, or IB and should be pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree.

Scholars will receive comprehensive support, including full tuition coverage, living expenses, paid internships, leadership development programmes and allowances for a laptop and phone or data plan.
