A boiler explosion at a palm oil factory in Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor, left four workers injured earlier today. The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 8.55am, with personnel quickly dispatched to the scene.
The victims—one Malaysian, one Bangladeshi, and two Nepalese men aged between 27 and 38—suffered burns during the incident while heating water as part of the factory’s operations. The fire was extinguished before firefighters arrived.
All injured workers were rushed to Tanjong Karang Hospital in private vehicles, with one reported to be in critical condition and receiving treatment in the red zone.
