JOHOR BARU — Sixteen out of 26 Johor PKR Youth division chiefs have officially endorsed Nurul Izzah Anwar for the party’s deputy presidency in the upcoming elections, citing her two decades of reform experience and leadership values.

In a joint statement led by Johor PKR Youth vice head Muhammad Faezuddin Mohd Puad, they praised Nurul Izzah’s idealism, integrity, and policy acumen, saying her leadership could energize youth and swing voters while strengthening PKR and Pakatan Harapan ahead of GE16.

They view her candidacy as a symbol of unity and a driver for political renewal, strategy, and grassroots consolidation. Nurul Izzah has yet to confirm her candidacy but said she would carefully consider the call from party members.
