China has voiced full support for Malaysia’s hosting of the inaugural ASEAN-China-GCC Summit, highlighting it as a key step toward deeper regional cooperation. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said the summit aligns with shared goals for win-win partnerships, especially under the Belt and Road Initiative. China also pledged to work closely with ASEAN and GCC nations to uphold fair development, global trade norms, and multilateralism.
