Tan Sri Kamaluddin Abdullah expressed deep gratitude to Malaysians, the government, and family friends for honoring his late father, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, at the renaming ceremony of MRSM Kepala Batas to MRSM Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Overcome with emotion, he thanked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and many others for their support during their mourning. Kamaluddin reflected on his father's over 30 years of service to Kepala Batas, his hometown, noting it was fitting for the tribute to occur there. Kamaluddin invited Malaysians to understand his father's essence through his poem "Ku Cari Damai Abadi," describing him as a humble servant dedicated to peace, faith, and duty, whose true legacy lies in his way of life. He concluded by thanking everyone for their love and remembrance of his father.
