Chennai — The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted surprise raids at the residence and office of Tamil film producer Akash Baskaran, located on K.P.N. Dasan Road, Teynampet, over suspected financial irregularities.
Akash, founder of Don Pictures, is currently producing three major films featuring top stars Dhanush, Simbu, and Sivakarthikeyan. Known for his political connections — including a wedding attended by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and actress Nayanthara — the raids have created ripples across the Tamil film industry.
