Tia Clayton Upsets Fraser-Pryce in Doha Showdown.

In a thrilling Doha Diamond League meet, 20-year-old Jamaican sprinter Tia Clayton stole the spotlight, beating legendary compatriot Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the women’s 100m with a world-leading 10.92s. Her twin sister Tina Clayton was second (11.02s), followed by Britain's Amy Hunt (11.03s). Fraser-Pryce, 38, finished fourth in 11.05s in what may be her final season.In the men's 200m, Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo narrowly held off American Courtney Lindsey, clocking a modest 20.10s.Botswana’s Tshepiso Masalela impressed in the men’s 800m, running a world-best 1:43.11 to beat Wycliffe Kinyamal.In the women’s 400m, Salwa Eid Naser of Bahrain marked her return with a dominant win in 49.83s, continuing her comeback after a two-year doping ban.Kenya’s Faith Cherotich delivered a dramatic finish in the 3000m steeplechase, overtaking Bahrain’s Winfred Yavi at the line to win in a world-leading 9:05.08.In field events, India’s Neeraj Chopra threw a personal best 90.23m in javelin but was edged by Germany’s Julian Weber, who won with 91.06m on his final attempt.In the high jump, New Zealand’s Hamish Kerr settled for third as Shelby McEwen of the U.S. took victory with a 2.26m clearance.
